Cyndi is a self-taught craftsperson and retired conservation scientist living in Bayfield. Exploring and observing nature in the woods and waters around her home and a lifetime of adventures around the world provides inspiration for Cyndi’s whimsical and lighthearted work.

She enjoys the endless creativity, careful precision and physicality of printmaking and the surprise as each print is revealed when pulled off the press.

Working with natural fibers to create textured landscapes and creatures is a relaxing switch from the intensity of printmaking. Observing the daily changes of sky and water and attempting to capture that beauty in wool is a comforting challenge.
