Weinberg has shown his work extensively in the Midwest, including seven solo shows in the last eight years, and has had solo shows in Taiwan, New York City, and New Jersey, at Fogstand Gallery, Thierry Goldberg Gallery’s Project Room, and Detour Gallery, respectively.
His work has also been included in group shows across the US, including galleries in San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and most recently at The Hole gallery in New York.
In 2015/16 he was awarded a Jerome Fellowship for Emerging Artists, which culminated in a fellowship show at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and was a 2017 recipient of a Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant. Weinberg is currently a 2021 recipient of a Minnesota State Arts Board Creative Support for Individuals Grant, which he was awarded to fund the making of a comic book about the characters in his work represented by Detour Gallery and Later Editions (London). He received his BFA from the University of Wisconsin–Stout in 2013 and currently lives and works in Saint Paul, MN.
